Job Description

This position oversees the day-to-day business operations in the Centre of Regulatory Excellence (CoRE) as well as within the Duke-NUS setting. Responsibilities include all financial aspects and other operational matters for CoRE. This position is responsible for the tracking and reporting of all CoRE expenditures and income streams, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and grant management.

  • Plan, prepare and analyse financial reports, including budgets and forecasts, manpower and fund reporting.
  • Prepare grant reports and claim submissions and handle inquiries relating to grant claim submissions.
  • Track all expenditures for the Centre and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contracts.
  • Assist in handling audit related matters and financial year end closing.
  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the Centre, including payment and collections, and asset inventory.
  • Assist in procurement of goods and services and ensure compliance with procurement guidelines.
  • Collect, organise, and store financial records on electronic cloud platforms.

Qualifications

  • Possess a degree, preferably in Accountancy, Business Administration or equivalent awarded by a recognised University.
  • Relevant working experience of 4-6 years
  • Preferably knowledge of SAP project and fund management systems.
  • Understanding of accounting concepts and tax implications e.g., GST and withholding tax
  • Have good analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Be meticulous and resourceful with positive work attitude.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Mature and possess good interpersonal skills.
