Job Description

The SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute (SDGHI) is an enabling platform for global health activities across the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC). The institute aims to address current and emerging health challenges across ASEAN member states and in other Asian countries. Working in collaboration with partners, the institute seeks to tackle prevalent health challenges, strengthen health systems and better insulate countries from pandemics and disease threats.

 

SDGHI is organised around five thematic core areas – Policy, Research, Education, Clinical Skills and Innovation; across which programmes and platforms are designed to meet the specific needs of the Global Health community in the region. 

 

We are currently recruiting an Education Associate to provide support to the growing education-related demands of SDGHI.

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordination and administration of educational programmes and learning and training events organised under SDGHI and its enabling platforms, including the Asian Institute for Healthcare Leadership & Management (Asian HEAL) and the Asian Pathogen Genomics Initiative Academy (APGI).
  • Project management of educational programmes and learning and training events including planning, coordination, logistics and execution of programmes and events, maintaining communication with key stakeholders, educators, learners and vendors.
  • Supporting enrolment and registration of participants for programmes and events and assisting with participants' enquiries.
  • Providing support to the learning environment, including supporting educators and learners during the programme or event delivery.
  • Compiling post-programme or event evaluation reports and conducting reviews with relevant stakeholders for continuous improvement. 
  • Collaborating with marketing team in the development of marketing plans, content and actions related to educational programmes and learning and training events.
  • Providing support to SDGHI-related activities as and when required.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications & Job requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, Social Sciences or other related disciplines. 
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in programme or event management, preferably in academia.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and work with stakeholders such as senior-level executives, faculty and team members across various functions and levels in the organisation.
  • Excellent attention to details with strong organisation and project management capabilities.
  • Resourceful team player who is able to work independently in a fast-paced multidisciplinary setting.
