Job Description

 

Provide marketing, event planning and management support to the Development Department for a variety of business functions including but not limited to the following: -

 

  • Plan and coordinate a wide range of events, including donor cultivation dinners, donor engagement sessions, donor appreciation lunches, fundraising dinners, dialogue sessions and symposiums.
  • Create compelling event marketing materials, such as brochures, EDMs and flyers to attract, engage target audience and fundraise.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure events align with Development and Research or Education objectives as well as target audience needs.
  • Work with Communications & Strategic Relations Department to utilise various communication channels, including social media to maximise event exposure and audience attendance. 
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor coordination, attendee invites and registration. 
  • Oversee event delivery, including on-site coordination, speaker management and post-event evaluations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Development.

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, Business Administration or related fields with 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in events management, marketing or communications. 
  • Entry-level candidates or Diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant experience may also be considered. 
  • Possess strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and effectively prioritise deadlines. 
  • Have excellent communications and organisational skills with an eye for details. 
  • A reliable and conscientious team player with effective interpersonal skills. 
  • High energy individual with a willingness to learn. 
  • Well versed in software applications such as Microsoft Office programmes and Photoshop.
