Job Description

The person in this position is responsible for providing administrative support for the various curriculum modules within the Programme of Learning in the Office of Education (OoE):
- Provide administrative support to faculty and students, ensuring the seamless execution of assigned courses. This includes assisting with cross-covering responsibilities and supporting other staff members responsible for different modules.
- Manage Phase I lab management and operation including day-to-day classroom activities.
- Provide administrative support to MD programme with scheduling, organizing meetings, and maintaining relevant documentation.
- Liaise closely with faculty and relevant staff to clarify and align programmatic expectations
- Ensure timely and clear communication among administrative team, faculty and students
- Learn about and manage functionalities of Student Learning Management Systems related to assigned course or programme, and communicate with students and faculty
- Provide administrative support to MD programme for all administration and finance related matters
- Assist the compile data for relevant reports, and supports the MD Programme faculty, staff and students in the processing of claims all in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide administrative support for National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) web-based exams and facilitate the registration process for ECFMG Step exams.
- Provide secretarial support to Head, MD Programme Department, including scheduling and organizing meeting, facility booking and other related matters.
- Support the day-to-day classroom activities
- Collaborate with colleagues from across OoE and SingHealth in operationalising assigned longitudinal learning activities across phases
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein or as assigned by reporting officer

Qualifications


- Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Prior work experience in an academic, healthcare or research environment would be advantageous.
- Meticulous, well-organised and able to multi-task.
- Possess effective communication and written skills, with the ability to work independently and as well as in a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications that facilitate work operations, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
