Job Description

Responsible for the execution of human resource processes and transactions for assigned areas of responsibilities within the HR Ops & Tech team in a timely and accurate manner while gaining exposure to process improvement and HR initiative projects to enhance team effectiveness. These will include but not limited to the following:

HR Operations

•              Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) according to the employee life cycle framework, ensuring data completeness and consistency.

•              Prepare employment contracts and letters in a timely manner and fulfill service requests promptly in compliance with established procedures.

•              Manage and organise staff personnel files, ensuring that all documents are properly filed digitally in a timely and orderly fashion.

•              Handle work pass applications and renewals, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

•              Stay informed of organisational changes and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support smooth HR operations.

Project and Process Improvement

•              Work with HR process owners to identify key operational issues and suggest practical HR system or process improvements.

•              Proactively participate in HR projects and collaborate with various stakeholders in the implementation of the HR system projects

•              Assist with in tracking project progress and supporting UAT or documentation tasks.

•              Work with stakeholders to resolve issues during project implementation.

•              Support change management relating to HR project implementation.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in a related discipline with minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Entry level candidates or Diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant work experience are also welcome to apply.
  • Self-starter with the ability to execute tasks independently while following guidance for project-related work.
  • Prior work experience in an academic, research or healthcare setting would be advantageous.
  • Meticulous, systematic, adaptable and well-organised.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritises multiple tasks and contributes to both operational and project initiatives.
  • Proficient in general software applications that facilitate work operations such as Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Familiarity with Success Factor and content management systems would be advantageous.
