Job Description

The Talent Engagement & Development team in Human Resources Department seeks to develop and implement strategy policies, programmes, processes and solutions that support the organisational needs of the School. Specifically, we are looking for a candidate to perform the following: -

  • Manage the Student Internship Programme and NUS Student Work Scheme such as reviewing eligibility, verifying documents and ensuring timely processing of applications.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of the Staff Induction Programme to acquaint new staff to the School.
  • Coordinate the various initiatives of employer branding including but not limited to updating the School’s Careers webpage and profile write-up in various career platforms, as well as managing outreach efforts such as Career Fairs.
  • Administer the staff’s learning platform such as e-Learning modules, staff’s training portfolio and Skills Transformation Fund.
  • Manage the various administrative and coordination matters of the team such as reviewing and updating the Jobs Library platform and Competency Dictionary. 
  • Support the end-to-end coordination of the various annual staff award schemes.
  • Review, enhance and streamline work processes of the team’s operations through quality improvement and IT projects for value-add impacts and outcomes.
  • Compile data and produce reports in a timely manner with analytical inputs.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described therein or as assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related discipline with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Prior work experience in a research/academic environment would be advantageous.
  • Meticulous, well-organised and able to multi-task.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and able to work well in teams.
  • Proficient in general software applications that facilitate work operations such as Microsoft Office programmes.
