Job Description
The Signature Research Programme in Health Services Research and Population Health (“HSRPH”) in Duke-NUS Medical School is a centre of academic excellence for research and education on Population Health and the organisation, funding and delivery of health services. The programme’s focus is on population health and clinical service innovation in an increasingly complex and connected world. The major research focus of HSRPH is the organisation and delivery of health and social services in the context of an ageing population. We are also developing a range of education activities for healthcare professionals including short courses, graduate certificates, Master’s courses and PhD programmes.
We invite applications for a tenure-track/tenured faculty position based in Singapore at the rank of Associate Professor/ Professor. Job title, salaries and benefits will be commensurate with the candidate’s accomplishments and experiences.
Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a researcher whose research methods might include quantitative and qualitative research, behavioural, decision and implementation science. Focus areas might include mental health, ageing, environment and health, population health, healthcare finance and health policy with the aim to inform clinical and public policy decision making; and is able to lead and publish research that moves the discipline forward.
The ideal candidate will enjoy a multidisciplinary environment and will establish an innovative, pragmatic, world leading research agenda. He/She will provide consultancy services, build capacity by mentoring clinicians and other researchers and supporting relevant education activities. Opportunities exist for productive collaborations with world-class researchers within HSRPH and with SingHealth clinicians and other staff and other national health care organizations, as well as the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute. This tenure-track/tenured position represents an outstanding opportunity for an established investigator.
