Research Assistant (Senior)/ Research Assistant (Health Economics)
The Signature Research Programme in Health Services Research & Population Health (“HSRPH”) in Duke-NUS Medical School is a centre of academic excellence for research and education of health systems and services for the population in Singapore and beyond. Our research methods include implementation science, health economics, decision science, survey/qualitative research, quantitative medicine, epidemiology, and data science. The population health outcomes programme Duke-NUS has established provides a framework for evaluating and improving healthcare delivery systems nationwide. We are also developing a range of educational activities for healthcare professionals including short courses, graduate certificates, Masters course and PhD programmes.
We are seeking for a full-time Research Assistant (Senior)/Research Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support a growing portfolio of mental health and broader health economics research through the following responsibilities:
- Conduct econometric and other statistical analyses.
- Develop decision tree and Markov models for cost-effectiveness analyses.
- Design discrete choice experiments and analyse preference data.
- Contribute to the development of literature reviews, surveys, statistical analysis plans, manuscripts, reports, and grant proposals.
- Undertake other related duties as assigned by the Principal Investigators.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Health Economics, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in quantitative data analysis, preferably using health economic datasets and statistical software such as Stata and TreeAge.
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively within a team environment.
