This individual will provide administrative and scientific support for the PI and research team on projects related to mental health and resilience:
- Serve as Research Fellow for multiple research projects related to mental health and resilience
- Develop and lead an independent research agenda via successful national and international grants and publications
- Design and conduct health services and implementation science research
- Utilise qualitative and quantitative methodologies to support grant/protocol development, study design, and management of research activities
- Collaborate with Duke-NUS faculty and establish partnerships across Singapore and regional communities for collaborative projects related to mental health and resilience
- Write and review research papers, present research outcomes and develop connections with local and international stakeholders
- Guide junior researchers and cross-disciplinary team members and provide mentorship to Duke-NUS students
- Perform other administrative, supervisory, and research related duties incidental to the work described herein
Qualifications
- PhD in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences or related fields with at least 3 years of relevant research experience and training
- Demonstrated success in managing research projects independently and in teams
- Proven track record of both quantitative and qualitative research expertise
- Experienced in health services research methods, including survey development, design, and administration
- Proficient in statistical software techniques using SPSS, STATA, R or similar software
- A self-starter with demonstrated ability to form collaborations and lead cross-disciplinary teams with minimal supervision
- Have good time-management skills and demonstrated professionalism
- Prior experience in patient and clinician engagement and project management, specifically in populations with mental health needs
- Professional proficiency in English, knowledgeable in other Asian languages
