Job Description

The Centre of Regulatory Excellence (CoRE) was established at Duke-NUS in 2014 with the mission to establish regional platforms and networks to grow competencies, build capacity, and promote thought leadership in regulatory science and health policy. CoRE offers a strong education portfolio to strengthen capacity and capability in health products regulation spanning pharmaceutical and medical devices, among industry and regulators.  Furthermore, CoRE promotes regulatory thought leadership and policy innovation as well as regulatory systems strengthening.

 

CoRE is recruiting a highly skilled and motivated Senior Executive to be part of the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team. The successful candidate will be a talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. In addition to being proficient in creative content, the successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, and be able to find the right style and layout for different projects under the Centre.

 

Additionally, the candidate will be involved in event management and secretariat matters, contributing to the organisation of activities such as conferences, roundtables, and seminars/webinars as part of the deliverables.

 

Marketing Communications

  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
  • Use trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current markets when designing and executing specific classifications.
  • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategise with multiple teams on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, collaterals, signages, internal communications, newsletters, annual reports and marketing materials.
  • Conceptualise and create outstanding marketing content across multi-platforms including social media, website and email, to enable an effective marketing reach and engagement with the target audience and reach wider interested audiences.
  • Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography and video/
  • Transform creative concepts into storyboards and lead the production of videos to bring those concepts to life, ensuring they align seamlessly with the original vision and objectives.
  • Be involved in event management and contribute to the organisation of activities such as conferences, roundtables, focus groups discussions and seminars/webinars as part of the project deliverables.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple initiatives/projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described therein or as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marcomms, Visual Communications or a similar creative field of study.
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of related experience.
  • Possess exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
  • Meticulous, organised and mindful about information accuracy, and be able to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficienct in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/In Design/Premiere Pro) is essential.
  • Well-organised and have good time management to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to continue building skills set with education and training
