Job Description

 

This position will be part of a dynamic team in Duke-NUS Health Services & Systems Research (HSSR) Signature Research Programme for work on an institutional level, serving as a point of liaison for the development, planning and management of HSSR’s education programmes. This position will also be responsible for the delivery of HSSR’s education programmes.

 

  • Work with faculty members to develop new education programmes that would meet market demands (Master in Health Services Research, Online Academy).
  • Responsible for the delivery of education programmes such as event promotion, logistics, liaison with participants, handling enquiries etc.
  • Develop new and emerging market segments for education programmes in health services research and delivery.
  • Prepare proposals and budget reports for new/existing continuing education programmes.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns for new/existing programmes to targeted audience. 
  • Act as a secretariat for education meetings, such as team meetings for Graduate Certificate Programme in Health Services & Innovation and Citizen Data Science Courses, and HSSR PhD student meetings.
  • Track the revenue and expenditure of HSSR’s education programme. 
  • Lead and coordinate work requirements of the business functions across the department and school.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Job Requirements

 

  • Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 -6 years of relevant work experience with some supervisory role.
  • Prior work experience in the healthcare or education industry would be advantageous. 
  • Knowledge of the continuing education and adult-learning markets will be advantageous (e.g., WSQ ACLP certification, training and training management experience).
  • Possess good awareness of the education and educational technologies market space.
  • Meticulous, well organised and able to multi-task.
  • Have good interpersonal skills and is able to work well in teams.
  • Possess strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Passionate to contribute and develop a career in the healthcare and health services domains.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
