The SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute (SDGHI) aims to address current and emerging health challenges across ASEAN member states and in other Asian countries. Working in collaboration with partners, the Institute seeks to tackle prevalent health challenges, strengthen health systems and better insulate countries from pandemics and disease threats

Job Description
The selected candidate will perform a variety of education activities with some research and general administrative tasks required to support the Deputy Director of SDGHI:
•    Assist in developing and monitoring education activities of the Institute.
•    Assist with developing global health courses and modules for a range of learners.
•    Assist with establishing a global health certificate programme.
•    Provide updates on education activities to the Institute’s Management team.
•    Provide updates on programme activities in priority locations and other programme sites.
•    Provide administrative oversight for Education projects.
•    Liaise with SingHealth Residency Programmes in relation to Global Health course (includes scheduling of meetings and training sessions).
•    Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein or as assigned by the supervisor.



  • Minimum requirement: Master’s Degree in public health, global heath, science, social sciences or other related disciplines with at least 2 years of relevant experiences.
  • Possess strong research and analytical skills with good interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and work with stakeholders and team members across various functions and levels in the organisation.
  • Have working knowledge of healthcare organisations in both academic and clinical settings.
  • Prior experience working with institutions in low and middle income countries, preferably in Asia would be advantageous.
  • A highly motivated individual who is detail-oriented, have excellent organisational, planning and coordination skills, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Proficient in general software applications that facilitate work.
