Job Description

The Academic Medicine Education Institute (AMEI) is committed to enhancing the capabilities of each and every educator, so as to build the teaching pipeline and better groom generations of healthcare professionals. This supports the spirit of Generativity, which is developing excellent healthcare educators who can contribute to building up other healthcare professionals in a vibrant learning environment that promotes care innovation and improves patient outcomes. This position will support the education initiatives of the various Centres that are housed within the Academic Medicine Education Institute, to deliver high quality and consistency in the programme of learning. This includes a variety of functions including but not limited to the following:

  • Provide administrative support to the delivery of operations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide support for in-class sessions and on Zoom sessions, including attendance-taking, technical support, administering of breakout sessions, quizzes, polls etc, and general administrative/ logistical support for the module.
  • Assist with the preparation of meeting materials and presentations, as well as reports and statistics whenever required.
  • Taking and transcribing minutes of meeting
  • Execute finance, budget, manpower, grant administration and policy interpretation processes to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Update and maintain database and records.
  • Review, enhance and streamline work processes for value-add impacts and outcomes.
  • Compile data, claims and reports in a timely manner with analytical inputs.
  • Serve as a liaison for day-to-day operation matters.
  • A team player who is able to prioritise, multi-task and work collaboratively in a diverse workforce.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein or as assigned by the supervisor.


  • Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Entry-level candidates or Diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Work experience in a research/academic environment would be advantageous.
  • Meticulous, well-organised and able to multi-task.
  • Have good interpersonal skills and is able to work well in teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams, and video conferencing platforms such as Zoom.
