Job Description

The SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute (SDGHI) aims to address current and emerging health challenges across ASEAN member states and in other Asian countries. Working in collaboration with partners, the Institute seeks to tackle prevalent health challenges, strengthen health systems and better insulate countries from pandemics and disease threats.

The successful candidate will be expected to perform a variety of administrative support to the Institute’s functions in delivering its intended objectives and outcomes. 


  • Provide administrative support to the delivery of operations in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Schedule meetings for SDGHI staff.
  • Assist with organising events and functions, including liaison with vendors and other departments for events set up. 
  • Handle logistics for the Institute’s visitors and guests.
  • Liaise with colleagues within the Department and across the School on operational matters and services such as procurement, finance and facilities matters. 
  • Assist with the preparation of meeting agendas, materials and presentations, as well as reports and statistics whenever required. 
  • Assist to procure and maintain inventory of meeting/office supplies. 
  • Update and maintain database and records. 
  • Handle and track invoices received and payments processed.
  • Serve as a liaison for day-to-day operational matters.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor/reporting officer. 


  • Diploma or equivalent in a related discipline with at least 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience. 
  • Candidates with other qualifications with at least 5 years of relevant work experience may also be considered. 
  • Prior work experience in a research or academic environment would be advantageous. 
  • Meticulous, well-organised and have good time management to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Able to communicate clearly, a strong team player and able to work effectively in a diverse work environment. 
  • Proficient in general software applications that facilitate work operations such as Microsoft Office programmes.
