Job Description

  • Assist with the development, organisation, communication, implementation and evaluation of educational initiatives.
  • Coordinate the creation and implementation of novel educational initiatives such as public workshops, seminars and training of MD/PhD students.
  • Identify appropriate funding opportunities aligned with faculty interests, assist with the preparation of grant proposals, and write updates for external communication.
  • Understand the research interests and expertise of each faculty member and help produce grants for submission to appropriate funding sources.
  • Work with CQM director to produce a variety of communication efforts for both internal to Duke-NUS and for external consumption.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in a quantitative or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior work experience in a research/academic environment would be advantageous.
  • Have relevant experience with education programme management and grant writing.
  • Competent in developing and constructing learning materials for tertiary education.
  • Possess excellent writing and critical thinking skills, as well as good communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and able to work in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
