Job Description

The Senior Executive is a pivotal front-line administrative support role in the Department of Social Work, responsible for ensuring seamless operations and effective communication between stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Financial Management:

    • Consolidate and manage payments to teaching staff
    • Ensure accurate documentation and evidence for payments are maintained and adhere to audit/contract standards.
  2. Academic Program Support:

    • Oversee registration and examination processes for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
    • Address and manage student inquiries in a timely manner, and support academic faculty with efficient service delivery.
    • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to academic matters, including student exchange programs.
  3. General Administrative Duties:

    • Handle general office administrative tasks as centralized for departmental requirements.
    • Provide quarterly management reports to the department's leadership.
  4. Program Coordination:

    • Manage the Honours Thesis and Independent Study Courses (HT and ISC).
    • Coordinate Social Service Agency visits, enhancing students’ learning journeys as part of the curriculum.

Qualifications

  • A good Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience, preferably in office management within the education industry.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to be meticulous and systematic.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and handle diverse responsibilities effectively.
  • Pleasant personality with clear-minded thinking.
  • Effective communication and strong written skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
