Job Description

Reporting to the Head, EMBA Programme Management, the incumbent will serve as the cohort coordinator for assigned NUS Executive MBA cohort(s) and/or UCLA-NUS Executive MBA cohort(s), with primary responsibility for:

 

1. Cohort and Participant Management – Act as the key point of contact for participants throughout their EMBA journey and supporting a high-quality, well-coordinated programme experience.
2. Segment Management – Coordinate the end-to-end planning and delivery of local and overseas programme segments, work closely with faculty, participants, internal stakeholders, external partners and service providers.

 

The incumbent plays an important role in ensuring the smooth delivery of the programme, effective participant engagement, and a consistently high standard of programme experience. He/she will be responsible for the following:

 

1. Cohort and Participant Management

  • POC and Communication
    • Act as the primary point of contact and coordinator for assigned cohort(s), providing timely information, guidance and support to participants throughout their programme journey.
    • Coordinate key cohort communications and ensure participants are kept informed of programme schedules, academic matters, administrative requirements, policies and important deadlines.
    • Work closely with faculty and relevant internal teams to address participant queries, feedback and programme-related matters, and facilitate appropriate follow-up where required.
  • Work with Class Ambassador (CA)
    • Support the nomination and engagement of class ambassadors, and work with them as an effective communication channel between the cohort and Programme Office.
  • Engagement
    • Coordinate participants' involvement in major programme milestones and events, including orientation, networking activities, programme events and commencement; coordinate participant engagement initiatives and cohort activities that enhance the overall programme experience, community building and cohort cohesion.
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as BIZAlum and BIZCareers, to provide value-add engagements
  • Maintain an overview of the assigned cohort's programme journey and proactively identify issues requiring coordination, escalation or intervention.

 

2. Segment Management

  • Coordinate the end-to-end planning and delivery of assigned local and overseas programme segments, ensuring smooth implementation and a high-quality learning and participant experience.
  • Develop and manage segment-level implementation plans, timelines, participant communications and operational requirements in coordination with faculty and relevant stakeholders.
  • Academics:
    • Assist participants with changes and cancellations of course registration;
    • Distribution of teaching and learning materials;
    • Provide on-site teaching support, ensuring learning activities are conducted smoothly
    • Work with various stakeholders to implement experiential learning components, such as corporate visits, industry engagements, guest/alumni sharing and other programme activities
  • Operations:
    • Coordinate segment logistics, including venue setup and facilities testing, transportation, dietary requirements, parking arrangements and other segment operational supports.
  • Financial Matters:
    • Coordinate vendor engagement and related financial processes in accordance with University requirements.
  • Conduct appropriate post-segment follow-up, including participant feedback, outstanding administrative matters and documentation of key operational issues for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Business, Education, or related disciplines).
  • Minimum 3–5 years (Assistant Manager) or 5–8 years (Manager) of relevant experience in higher education, executive education, or programme management.
  • Prior experience in programme management, particularly in the delivery or administration of educational programmes is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint) and data management tools (Power BI, etc.)
  • Familiarity with educational technology platforms (e.g., Canvas, Zoom, Power Automate, ChatGPT, or AI tools) would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently with accountability.
