Job Description

The incumbent will support the core functions of the NUS BIZ PhD & Research Office in grant management and research administration.

 

Key duties include:

  • Coordination/dissemination of grant calls
  • Provide grants processing support for proposal and report submissions
  • Provide secretariat support to review panel meetings
  • Liaise with the Office of the Deputy President (Research & Technology) (ODPRT) or the Office of Legal Affairs (OLA) to assist faculty members in putting in place the contracts and agreements with individuals or organisation needed for the conduct of research
  • Management of research accounts from award to expiry, validate expenditures for compliance with applicable funding agencies terms and conditions and University policies
  • Facilitate grant variations submissions
  • Assist in the submission of progress and final reports and ensure proper project closeout

Qualifications

  • A good university degree, preferably with prior experience in grant management and/or research administration.
  • Meticulous in handling operational details.
  • IT savvy, with good knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
