Job Description
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
1) Administrative support
• Provide administrative and logistical support to the Student Affairs (including Undergraduate (UG)/ Post-graduate (PG) students) and Alumni Relations committees.
• Plan (including operation fund budgeting) and organise student/alumni activities and events, provide logistic support for the activities and events.
• Analyse and interpret survey trends, such as analysing and interpreting post event surveys and graduate employment surveys, produce reports and generate statistics.
• Manage the academic mentoring scheme for UG students, including mentor allocations & monitoring.
• Monitor at-risk students.
• Update alumni database and support all alumni relations initiatives in the department.
• Provide support in the production of publicity materials for the committees.
• Identify and propose new initiatives to engage students in meaningful ways.
• Review SOPs and administrative matters.
2) Others
• Provide assistance in any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the committees/Department.
Qualifications
• Degree holder or equivalent in any related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an educational institution.
• Proficiency in MS Office and use of social media.
• Experience in event organisation and management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build rapport with staff and students.
• A team player and able to multi-task.
• Meticulous, with strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion on student records and matters.
• Preferably candidate who can start work immediately
