Job Description
The selected individual is required to assist with the educational mission of the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME), specifically in the areas of graduate studies (lifelong learning programmes and graduate research programmes) as well as certain areas of undergraduate studies (student exchange programme and other student matters).
The required responsibilities include:
• Lifelong learning programmes: end-to-end management of existing and new graduate certificates and executive certificates programmes.
• Graduate research programmes: handling student applications (2 intakes per year), interviews, offers, and scholarship matters. Organize orientation talks and other event related to graduate research programmes.
• Undergraduate Student Exchange Program (SEP): mapping requests, credit transfers, and marks verification.
• Other student matters. During peak periods, a helping hand may be needed for other student matters that may include answering student queries or organize special events.
Qualifications
• At least a bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Demonstrates proactive behaviour and multi-task ability.
• Values teamwork and able to work independently as required.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Service-oriented.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft skills.
• Open to fixed-term contract.
