Job Description

The Department of Architecture invites applications for a lecturer position (educator track) in Landscape Architecture.  

 

The Department of Architecture in the College of Design and Engineering is ranked among the top 10 in the world, and Asia’s best in Architecture/Built Environment, by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings (2023). It offers the professionally accredited Master of Architecture programme as well as a range of graduate and undergraduate programmes in related fields such as urban planning/design, landscape architecture and conservation. The faculty is correspondingly diverse and international. The Department offers internationally competitive remuneration, generous employment benefits as well as access to research funding for both junior and senior academics. Qualifications

Successful candidates should be actively engaged in landscape architectural design, including but not limited to geospatial analysis, landscape representation, urbanism, ecology, infrastructure, and landscape engineering. Additional preferred qualifications include experience in professional practice or membership with professional bodies.  

Successful candidates are expected to contribute to landscape design studios for undergraduate and post-graduate students, and core modules related to geodesign, ecological and environmental systems, landscape policy and planning, landscape representation, and materials or site engineering.
