Job Description
• Conduct literature review on maritime climate modelling
• Set up, test and validate climate modelling simulations for maritime climate
• Simulate maritime climate under different scenarios and projections
• Analyse observational and simulation data and summarize key findings and observations.
• Collaborate with other team members to design experiments, execute research plan, and interpret results
• Assist in the preparation of research summary, technical reports, and academic publications.
• Assist in other relevant activities in the research project such as supervision of undergraduate students and management of project administration.
Job Requirements
• A Bachelor or Master degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent
• Proficiency in climate modelling software
• Strong passion in research and can conduct research semi-independently
• Fluent in English and able to present research to both researchers and the general public
• Minimum 1 year of experience in climate modelling
• Candidates with a good publication record will be prioritized
• Candidates who plan to pursue a PhD degree will be prioritized
