Job Description

A Research Engineer position is available in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the National University of Singapore under the direction of Dr. Peichen Zhong. This role involves using agentic AI, experimental characterization, and computational modeling while collaborating with experimentalists.

Qualifications

•    B.S. in Science or Engineering.
•    Proficiency in at least one mainstream deep learning framework (PyTorch or JAX)
•    Fundamental knowledge of physics, chemistry, and materials science.
•    Development or working experience of generative models in scientific applications (e.g., diffusion model, LLM)
•    Working knowledge of database management (e.g., MongoDB)
