We are seeking a motivated and skilled Research Assistant to join our team, focusing on the characterization of novel materials for next-generation integrated circuits. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting projects related to detailed analysis of thin films for next-generation electronic devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical measurements and analyze advanced materials
  • Operate and maintain specialized characterization equipment
  • Analyze and interpret measurement data
  • Prepare technical reports and contribute to research publications
  • Document experimental procedures and maintain detailed research records
  • Assist with semiconductor device fabrication as needed
  • Support coordination between NUS and Applied Materials team
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by the project
  • Report regularly to the research team
  • Work effectively in a collaborative team environment
     

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor physics and electrical characterization techniques
  • Experience with electrical measurement equipment (e.g., probe stations, parameter analyzers)
  • Proficiency in data analysis and scientific computing (MATLAB, Python, or similar)
  • Excellent documentation and technical writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in relevant field
  • Experience with semiconductor processing and characterization
  • Knowledge of integrated circuit manufacturing processes
  • Publication record in relevant field
