Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Research Assistant to join our team, focusing on the characterization of novel materials for next-generation integrated circuits. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting projects related to detailed analysis of thin films for next-generation electronic devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical measurements and analyze advanced materials
- Operate and maintain specialized characterization equipment
- Analyze and interpret measurement data
- Prepare technical reports and contribute to research publications
- Document experimental procedures and maintain detailed research records
- Assist with semiconductor device fabrication as needed
- Support coordination between NUS and Applied Materials team
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by the project
- Report regularly to the research team
- Work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Strong understanding of semiconductor physics and electrical characterization techniques
- Experience with electrical measurement equipment (e.g., probe stations, parameter analyzers)
- Proficiency in data analysis and scientific computing (MATLAB, Python, or similar)
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in relevant field
- Experience with semiconductor processing and characterization
- Knowledge of integrated circuit manufacturing processes
- Publication record in relevant field
