Job Description
The successful candidates will contribute to research activities related to the analysis and simulation of workplace safety and health, economics, and climate/weather data. The candidate shall work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) to conduct academic research and administrative work. Specific job activities may include:
• Conduct literature review on topics related to the project;
• Design research related to the project’s topic;
• Collect and analyse data obtained from collaborators and reliable online sources
• Liaise with collaborators on meetings and data collections;
• Develop innovative ways to analyse available data and use simulation to achieve research goals;
• Write research papers, reports and proposals;
• And any other tasks required by the principal investigator.
Job Requirements
• A degree within the fields of construction management, safety management, engineering management, civil and structural engineering, or related fields;
• Strong quantitative analysis, machine learning and simulation competencies;
• Research experience in construction management topics;
• Willing to learn, independent, leadership qualities, team player, professional, proactive, communicative, and responsible; and
• Strong English writing and communication skills.
