Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electronics Engineer to join our multidisciplinary research and development team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building circuits from the ground up, ranging from precision analog front ends to microcontroller-based digital systems, and who can take a design from concept, to simulation, to PCB implementation. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge hardware prototypes and collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, and researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. (Primary) Circuitry design, simulation and implementation
- Analog Circuit Design: Design, implement, and test analog circuits, including operational-amplifier stages, instrumentation amplifiers, sensor interfaces, and low-noise front-end modules.
- Digital Circuit Design: Develop digital circuits based on microcontrollers (e.g., MCU minimal systems, custom peripheral circuitry) for embedded applications.
- Simulation & Analysis: Utilize circuit simulation software (e.g., LTspice, PSpice, Multisim) to verify circuit theoretical performance before fabrication.
- PCB Design: perform multi-layer PCB layout and routing ensuring signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI compliance.
2. (Additional) FPGA Integration
- Note: These responsibilities are applicable if the candidate possesses FPGA skills.
- Design and implement digital logic using FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays).
- Write and verify HDL code (Verilog or VHDL) for hardware acceleration or custom interface protocols.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven work experience as an Electronics Engineer or Hardware Engineer
- Proficiency with at least one circuit simulation environment (e.g., LTspice, PSpice, Multisim).
- Proficiency in EDA tools for Schematic and PCB design (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, Cadence OrCAD, or Eagle).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
Prefrred Skills:
- Experience in developing differential amplification circuitry with OP-Amp or instrumentation amplifiers.
- Proven experience in the design, application, and verification of mixed-signal (Analog/Digital) circuits and PCBs, ensuring robust performance in real-world scenarios.
- Experience with FPGA-related applications, including logic design or system integration (e.g., using Xilinx, Intel/Altera, or Lattice platforms).
