Job Description

This research project aims to integrate the ocean renewable harvesting with the floating breakwaters for the next generation coastal protection infrastructure. The research staff will work in a multi-disciplinary team on the engineering analysis and design of floating structures, which aim to integrate ocean energy harvesting strategies with the wave attenuation effects of floating structures, designed for meta ocean conditions in Singapore waters.  

Job Requirements

•    Possess a Master’s Degree in civil or mechanical engineering or related disciplines. 
•    He/she should have fundamental knowledge structural engineering and structural analysis.
•    He/she should have laboratory experience in designing, conducting and instrumenting structures. 
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to present results clearly. 
•    Open to fixed-term contract.
