Job Description
Work on hands-on experiments for few of the following tasks:
1. Design, Simulation, and Fabrication of Piezoelectric Photonics such as waveguide sensors, and in-sensor computing
2.Fabrication of integrated sensors based on CMOS compatible process
3. Fabrication of nanosensors using e-beam lithography
4. Design, modelling and testing of photonics computing devices using MEMS and/or photonics elements
5. Write 2 or more research papers based on derived data of the above devices in the first year in the top-notch journals
6. Write research grant proposals
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
2. Have learned Machine Learning related courses for one semester at post-graduate level and earned score of A- or better.
3. Strong background in hands-on microfabrication techniques at clean room and with journal publications showing such evidences
4. With 3 years and more experience in making and testing piezoelectric photonics devices
5. Strong knowledge in L-Edit; Lumerical; CST; COMSOL; ANSYS;
6. Having more than two 1st-authored international peer-reviewed journal papers (for RE)
7. Open to fixed term contract.
