Job Description
The NUS invites applications for a Research Engineer position. The selected individual is required to:
• Prepare marine concrete using sustainable materials
• Design laboratory method to accelerate the aging of concrete in marine conditions
• Design underwater non-destructive testing method to evaluate the concrete properties after aging.
Job Requirements
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Has a solid background in laboratory research of sustainable concrete.
• Preferably with a master’s degree in the area of construciton materials, concrete, or cement chemistry, etc.
• Prior experience with academic writing and peer-reviewed journal publication is preferred.
• Embrace teamwork
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Open to fixed term contract.
