• Conduct research on advanced materials processing and manufacturing for functional components and structures.
• Develop and optimize process routes involving additive manufacturing, freeze casting, and subsequent material conversion and post-processing.
• Design and process precursor materials suitable for forming complex geometries and converting them into functional engineering materials.
• Investigate processing–structure–property relationships across shaping, material conversion, and post-processing stages.
• Perform materials characterization and thermal and mechanical testing to evaluate the structure, properties, and performance of the fabricated components.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary collaborators to integrate the developed materials and components into functional prototypes and engineering applications.
- Prepare research reports and manuscripts for publication in leading international journals and present research findings at conferences.
- Support the supervision of graduate and undergraduate students and contribute to laboratory operations, including equipment upkeep and safety compliance.
