Job Description
• Conduct research on the design, fabrication, and characterization of advanced composite materials for additive manufacturing.
• Develop, optimize, and evaluate material formulations and 3D printing processes for high-performance composite structures.
• Perform materials characterization, mechanical testing, and data analysis to understand processing–structure–property relationships.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary collaborators to translate research outcomes into functional prototypes and engineering applications.
• Prepare manuscripts for publication in leading international journals and present research findings at conferences.
• Support the supervision of graduate and undergraduate students and contribute to laboratory operations, including equipment upkeep and safety compliance.
Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in composite materials, additive manufacturing, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Experience in materials characterization and mechanical testing, with the ability to independently design and conduct experiments.
• Strong publication record in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary research team.
