Job Description

Work on hands-on experiments for few of the following tasks:
1. Design and Fabrication of Quantum Sensors
2. Design and Fabrication of Nanomechanics for Quantum Applications
3. Design and Fabrication of Waveguide based quantum sensing
4. Design and Fabrication of NEMS Sensors
5. Testing and characterization of quantum sensors
6.Write 2 or more research papers based on derived data of the above devices in the first year in the top-notch journals, e.g., Nature Communications
7. Write research grant proposals

Qualifications

1. Have learned MEMS, Sensors, Waveguide Photonics or Quantum Sensors in related courses for one semester at post-graduate level and earned score of A- or better.
2. Strong background in hands-on microfabrication techniques at clean room and with journal publications showing such evidences
3. With 1 year and more experience in making and testing MEMS/NEMS.
5. Good knowledge in Lumerical; COMSOL or ANSYS; 
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
7. Having more than 3 1st-authored international peer-reviewed journal papers
