Job Description
• Contract length: 1 Year
• Responsibility: The RF will undertake a research project on a research problem faced by a firm in a real world context. The RF’s main responsibilities are:
- Communicating with collaborators to understand the context of the problem.
- Formulating mathematical models that capture the problem
- Developing theoretical results and conducting numerical experiments
- Writing a research manuscript for potential journal submission
- Preparing for presentations for research conferences
Job Requirements
• Have a PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics or Computer Science.
• Have research experience on Operations Research.
• Proficient in mathematical skills on applied probability and optimization.
• Proficient in programming packages such as Python
• Willing to learn new knowledge and be an innovative problem solver.
• Proficient in scientific writing and presentations for scientific conferences.
• Great communication skills, motivated individual.
