Job Description
This project aims to investigate the shielding effect of different reinforced concrete structures when exposed to gamma radiation.
The candidate is expected to
• Design and fabricate representative reinforced concrete structures
• Design test set up for detecting residual gamma radiation when exposed to a given radiation source
• Perform airborne gamma radiation field simulations and parametric studies
Job Requirements
• Possess a PhD degree in relevant field, with demonstrated experience in the following:
• Experience with casting of concrete specimens.
• Experience with mechanism transport simulations.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.
• Open to fixed-term contract.
