Job Description
The Zhu laboratory in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (https://cde.nus.edu.sg/chbe/staff/zhu-guan-zhou/) pioneers advancements in new battery technology through innovations in electrode materials, electrolyte design, and battery chemistry. Additionally, we are committed to gaining a deep fundamental understanding of various battery systems.
The Zhu laboratory is looking for postdoctoral researchers to conduct research in the fields of rechargeable batteries and energy storage, including rechargeable lithium and sodium batteries, redox flow batteries, synthesis and characterizations of energy storage materials, and employing machine learning and high throughput for the discovery of new electrode materials and electrolyte systems.
1. Holds a PhD degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science, physics or related fields with a good publication record.
2. Prior research experiences in the following areas are highly preferred: rechargeable batteries (lithium, sodium, magnesium, aluminum, etc.), redox-flow battery, synthesis and characterizations of nanomaterials, electrochemical measurements and characterizations, and machine learning and high throughput experiences.
