The Research Fellow will need to conduct research in the field of coastal dynamics, in terms of ship wakes (marine traffic-induced waves), near-shore hydrodynamics (e.g. waves, currents) and morphological processes. Numerical simulations and computational fluid dynamics modelling will be conducted.

 

Job Requirements


•    Possess a PhD degree in related field and with relevant research experience.
•    Strong quantitative analytical skills.  
•    Strong written and spoken communications and able to present results clearly.
•    Relevant prior good publication record will be advantageous.
•    Candidates with background in coastal and ocean engineering, especially with experience and knowledge in numerical modelling, CFD, wave theories, ship wakes, and coastal processes are encouraged to apply.
•    Open to fixed-term contract
