Research Fellow (Thermal Management)

Job Description

• Conducting numerical modeling of heat transfer and hydrodynamic performance of the cold plate
• Developing hybrid material cold plate
• Conducting test-bedding of the proposed cold plate design
• Communicating with various stakeholders to set up the testbed and liaising with other project teams for the life cycle cost analysis
• Sizing pipes, calculating heat loads, and sizing of cooling equipment

Qualifications

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with
• Experience in prototyping and experimental work.
• Knowledge of CFD analysis using commercial software such as ANSYS FLUENT, ICEPAK
• Knowledge of data centre operation is an added advantage
• Able to work independently and as a team
• Good communication skills in English
