Job Description
• Set up and operate wind/water tunnel equipment
• Conduct wind tunnel/water experiments
• Conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations
• Analyze experimental and simulation data and summarize key findings and observations
• Collaborate with other team members to design experiments, develop simulation methodologies, data collection and analysis
• Assist in the preparation of research proposals and technical reports
• Lead in writing of journal and conference publications
• Assist in other relevant activities in the research project such as supervision of undergraduate students and management of project administration
Job Requirements
• A PhD in Atmospheric Science/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or equivalent
• Proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations software
• Strong passion in research and can conduct research independently
• Fluent in English and able to present research to both researchers and the general public
• Strong publication record
• Experience in conducting wind/water tunnel experiments is a plus
• Experience in programming and AI/machine learning is a plus
