Job Description

A Research Fellow position is available in the research group of Asst Prof Mike Z. Shou, at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS).  
 
The Research Fellow will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) on one or more research projects about video intelligence:
•    Prepare for and meet project deliveries and milestones.
•    Conduct research on video intelligence including model design, implementation, evaluation, system development
•    Develop innovative models for video intelligence (e.g., multimodal understanding, generative video, spatio-temporal modeling)
•    Lead manuscript writing for submission to premier venues (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICLR).
•    Convert research prototypes into scalable, deployable software systems or proof-of-concept demos.
•    Design, code, and optimize robust deep learning pipelines
•    Project reports writing and presentation.

Qualifications

•    Possess a Bachelor degree or above in electrical engineering, computer science or related fields
•    Strong first-author publication records (>=3) in top-tier AI conferences like CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, AAAI, ICLR, ICML, ACM MM.
•    Research experiences on computer vision
•    Strong programming skills in using Deep Learning tools like PyTorch and GPU clusters.
•    Good written and verbal communications.
•    Open to Fixed Term Contract
