Job Description
Website:
• Website Maintenance: Manage, update, and maintain the organisation’s website to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and engaging.
• Content Management: Upload new content (articles, press releases, images, videos, event announcements) and ensure information architecture is user-friendly.
• Performance Monitoring: Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor site performance, track visitor engagement, and generate reports.
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Implement basic search engine optimisation best practices to improve website visibility.
• Technical Liaison: Coordinate with IT/web developers for major updates, troubleshooting, and security enhancements.
• Compliance: Ensure website compliance with accessibility standards and relevant policies.
Design and Marketing:
• Visual Content Creation: Design graphics, banners, infographics, posters, and other visual assets for digital and print campaigns using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Collateral Production: Create marketing and promotional materials (brochures, flyers, presentations, social media visuals).
• Email Marketing: Develop collaterals for email marketing/dissemination, and track/monitor campaign metrics with the aim of improving design, impact and traction.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all visuals adhere to brand guidelines, maintaining a coherent and professional image across platforms.
Branding:
• Brand Development: Support the development and implementation of branding strategies to enhance the organisation’s identity.
• Brand Assets Management: Maintain a library of brand assets (logos, templates, style guides) and ensure their proper and consistent use.
• Internal Branding: Collaborate with HR and other departments on internal campaigns to reinforce organisational values and culture.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure brand consistency in joint initiatives and communications.
• Event Support: Provide design and communication support for organisational events, including event branding and promotional materials.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Design, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience in website management (preferably with CMS platforms such as WordPress).
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite or similar) and generative AI tools would be essential.
• Strong understanding of branding principles and visual storytelling.
• Experience in email marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical skills for monitoring web and campaign performance.
• Ability to multitask and manage projects within deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a keen sense of aesthetics.
