Job Description

The selected individual is required to:
•    Lead sensor design and AI integration, as well as full system integration and operational evaluation.
•    Assist PI with the following duties: 
     o    Analyzing experimental data and validating system performance against benchmarks

     o    Preparing manuscripts, grant proposals, and technical reports.
     o    Supervising junior researchers and graduate students in related projects.
     o    Coordinating with collaborators, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
     o    Managing laboratory operations, including procurement and maintenance of research equipment.
     o    Supporting technology translation efforts, including prototype refinement, IP filing, and potential commercialization activities.

Qualifications

•    Possess a PHD degree in relevant field.
•    At least 3 or more years’ of external postdoctoral research experience.
•    Sensor design and development. 
•    AI model development, training and deployment.
•    System integration and operational evaluation.
•    Prior experience with sensor and AI development is preferred.
•    Strong written and spoke communications. 
•    Open to fixed-term contract.
