Job Description

To support the Project Lead in the execution of an internally funded research project in collaboration with IPUR, focusing on human and AI support in financial risk situations. 

The research associate will contribute to research preparation, ethics compliance, participant study materials, and fieldwork coordination to ensure the successful delivery of the project. 

1.    Develop and refine research design vignettes with the project team for experimental studies. 
2.    Prepare, coordinate, and manage research ethics documentation, including ethics applications, amendments, participant information sheets, consent forms, and compliance records. 
3.    Prepare research materials, coordinate participant recruitment, and support in advanced logistics for field-based data collection. 
4.    Provide administrative and operational support to the Project Lead and research team as required. 

Qualifications

-    Minimum qualification: Master’s degree (preferably in Design, Human-Computer Interaction), or equivalent research experience.
-    Strong proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese. 
-    Demonstrated experience in design research, including qualitative research methods.
-    Prior experience preparing ethics applications (e.g., DERC/IRB) and managing ethics-related documentation.
-    Familiarity with ageing, gerontology, or financial decision-making research in Singapore context is an advantage. 
-    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple research tasks independently and meet project deadlines.
