Job Purpose

The AI Centre for Educational Technologies (AICET) is a research centre that is focused on developing technologies to improve learning. AICET collaborates with the Ministry of Education, Singapore and the National University of Singapore on various projects to build systems that provide immediate personalised feedback to the students, providing content that adapts to their performance, and improve assessment and grading efficiency and effectiveness.

AICET is seeking a highly motivated and independent Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Our research focuses on the impact of LLM platforms / tools on university student learning, both in general and in specific disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Create data pipeline and repositories for mixed data set (structured and unstructured).
• Analyse datasets, develop predictive models, create visualizations, and deploy AI or LLM-powered automation.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Statistics. Strong proficiency in Python or R is preferred.
• Experience: Demonstrated track record of creating data pipeline / repository of medium to large scale data set.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.
