Job Description
- Support faculty and project teams in understanding teaching and learning needs, and contribute to the development of AI-enabled educational solutions.
- Support the design, development, testing, and refinement of AI-powered learning experiences, including role-play simulations, AI tutors, coaching chatbots, virtual patients, interview simulations, intelligent feedback systems, and other interactive learning applications.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of AI-enabled educational platforms and digital learning tools through prompt design, workflow configuration, testing, and quality assurance.
- Assist in developing and refining prompts, agent workflows, and evaluation rubrics to improve the quality, consistency, and educational effectiveness of AI interactions.
- Support literature reviews, user research, pilot studies, surveys, interviews, and usability testing to evaluate learner engagement, user experience, and educational effectiveness.
- Assist in analysing qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, evaluate AI-enabled learning interventions, and support iterative improvements to learning experiences.
- Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and academic stakeholders to translate educational requirements into functional AI solutions and support product testing and refinement.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of workshops, demonstrations, consultations, and project documentation that promote the effective use of AI in teaching and learning.
- Keep abreast of developments in generative AI and educational technology, contributing ideas to enhance AI-enabled teaching and learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
- Good understanding of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI, including their capabilities, limitations, and practical applications.
- Relevant experience in generative AI, educational technology, research, learning design, product development, or related areas through coursework, projects, internships, research, or professional work is advantageous.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly, think critically, and apply them to solve educational challenges.
