Job Description

 

The Executive (Communications & Outreach) oversees the Centre’s publicity, manages social media channels, maintains the website, and ensures that Centre events are well executed and aligned with the core values of the University.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  1. Publicity and Communication.
    • Oversee content creation for website and social media platforms.
    • Manage public relations efforts, including press releases and media outreach.
    • Organise events, seminars, and workshops to promote centre.

 

  1. Administration for Pedagogy Team
    • Support the administration of pedagogy-related initiatives (e.g. RFP calls), including preparing and disseminating announcements, managing application submissions, and coordinating meetings.
    • Coordinate workshops and engagements involving external institutions, including scheduling meetings, gathering participant details, clarifying requirements, and managing follow-ups.
    • Manage operational logistics for events, including registrations, attendance tracking, venue, and materials setup, and on-the-day coordination to ensure smooth delivery.
    • Assist with documentation of ScholAIstic credit allocations and usage, ensuring records are up to date and supporting internal tracking and reporting needs.

     

     3. Assisting in any ad-hoc duties, and exigencies of service, as assigned by the Centre Director.

 

        Job responsibilities subject to change depending on evolving business and operational needs.

Qualifications

 

  • Recognised diploma/bachelor’s degree (any discipline; communications, education, or business is a plus)
  • Preferably with work experience in a higher education setting, or in a large organisation.
  • Proven track record working with diverse stakeholders, handling multiple timelines, and coordinating between different teams will a bonus.
