1. Innovation & Entrepreneurship Managemen
- Manage the SoC Incubator (called The Furnace), ensuring it provides strong infrastructure, programmes and networks to enable startup growth
- Facilitate networking, mentoring and investor engagement opportunities to accelerate entrepreneurial success
- Monitor and assess founder progress, providing targeted guidance and tailored interventions
- Build strong collaborations with internal stakeholders and industry partners to expand innovation outcomes
- Represent and promote the incubator through outreach, marketing and strategic engagement with the wider innovation community
- Ensure smooth operations and functionality of incubator facilities
2. Award & Programme Managemen
- Manage two flagship awards from call for submissions to post-award tracking
- Design and run evaluation processes to ensure fair selection of high-potential projects
- Oversee award disbursement, mentorship matching and milestone tracking for winning teams
- Gather and analyse feedback to improve award cycles and enhance participant experience
3. Event & Marketing Leadershi
- Plan, organise and deliver high-impact events including the Asian Business Plan Competition (ABPC), SoC Startup Recruitment Fair, pitch sessions and award ceremonies
- Execute events attracting 300+ participants per run, ensuring high quality and relevance for startups and stakeholders
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to raise awareness and participation in I&E programme
4. Additional Responsibilitie
- Maintain and update I&E website content, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Build and sustain relationships with startups, alumni and industry leaders to strengthen collaboration opportunities
- Provide secretariat support, including planning and coordinating all I&E meetings, preparing materials, documenting minutes and following up on action items
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related fields.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in entrepreneurship, innovation management, programme management or ecosystem building.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to engage founders, corporates and industry partners.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Experience in event planning, marketing communications and community building.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for startups, innovation and nurturing the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
