Description

The Project Management Manager will oversee the AI-based Identity and Access Management (IAM) research project, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing stakeholder relationships. The role involves translating research outcomes into commercial applications while maintaining compliance with grant requirements and institutional policies.

 

Job Responsibilitie

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans and monitor progress.
  • Stakeholder Management and Communication: Liaise between NUS research team, industry partner, and grant agency.
  • Team Coordination and Resource Management: Recruit and coordinate research team members.
  • Budget and Financial Management: Manage project budget and ensure compliance.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with grant requirements and institutional policies.
  • Technology Transfer and Commercialization Support: Facilitate technology transfer activities.
  • Risk Management and Issue Resolution: Identify and mitigate project risks.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • PMP certification is desirable.
  • Has 5-7 years in project management, preferably in technology research, AI/ML projects, or cybersecurity domains.
  • Has proven track record of managing industry-academic collaborations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience coordinating between research institutions and commercial partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects with multiple deliverables and tight deadlines.
  • Has experience with grant-funded projects and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, cybersecurity principles, IAM systems, and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property management and licensing agreements.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies for research projects.
