Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing. The Research Assistant will be responsible for working closely with the Principal Investigator to develop a 3D Computer Vision technique for cross modality registration for radar and visual images.

The Research Assistant will be required to

(1) Develop 3D reconstruction techniques using a combination of traditional and neural network approaches.
(2) Develop cross modality registration techniques for radar and optical images.
(3) Develop the software to implement the techniques

Requirements

The candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in STEM courses and possess the following skill sets:

• 3D Computer Vision techniques including traditional 3D reconstruction techniques and Deep Learning techniques like NeRF.
• Strong in coding in python and familiar with machine learning tools.
• Strong in mathematics particularly linear algebra and stochastic processing.
• Independent and has a good sense in research.
• Has prior experience in radar or lidar
