Prof. YAN Shuicheng from the Learning and Vision Lab at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore is exploring e-AGI: Efficient, Embodied, and Evolving. We are seeking creative Research Assistants for this direction. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop novel computational architectures for foundation models, explore embodied AI approaches, and pioneer self-improving methodologies that push the boundaries of intelligent systems.
 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop a comprehensive understanding of diverse research domains and relevant literature, mastering a wide range of research techniques.
•    Identify tractable components within complex research problems, showcasing exceptional problem-solving skills.
•    Investigate emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies under the guidance of experienced mentors, contributing specialized expertise to effective project planning.
•    Successfully complete research tasks that yield innovative outcomes.
•    Develop algorithms, prototypes, theoretical frameworks, tools, analyses, insights, or datasets that address critical aspects of our overarching research objectives.

Job Requirements

  • A strong commitment to academic and research excellence.
