Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and creative postdoctoral candidates to join the Yang Zhang Lab in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore

The candidate is expected to conduct impactful research at the interface of AI and biology by creating innovative computational methodologies, fostering interdisciplinary collaborations, and laying the groundwork for a long-term academic career. The ultimate goal is to advance both AI and computational biology by addressing fundamental questions in biology through methodological innovation.

Candidates with a strong interest in artificial intelligence (AI), deep learning, protein/RNA folding and structure prediction, protein and peptide design, and/or protein-ligand docking and drug screening are encouraged to apply. We are particularly focused on developing novel AI-driven approaches for cancer therapeutics. Proficiency in computational programming and creativity in scientific methodology, along with a strong passion for computational cancer research, are essential for this role.

Job Requirements

• A PhD in Computer Science, Computational Biology, or a related field,
• Demonstrated expertise and research experience in AI and deep learning.
